Slap bang at the heart of the Scottish Borders, The Blue Coo Bistrot at The Buccleuch Arms is a contemporary eatery offering a deliciously different taste of the Borders using fresh, local, seasonal and foraged produce.
Customers can enjoy unstuffy surroundings in the upmarket French café feel of The Blue Coo, but at the same time appreciate many of the original features dating back to 1836.
Locally sourced meat such as roe deer loin, wisps of smoked Border lamb and pedigree Scotch beef feature strongly on the menu whilst fresh fish and seasonal ingredients add creativity to the daily ‘Fresh Sheet’. In addition, local ales, large selection of gins and a broad selection of world wines complement the offering.
Open from 6.45am, the Blue Coo Bistrot offers a scrumptious breakfast menu. From 10am-12 noon morning bites are served plus take away bacon rolls and coffee. Lunch starts at 12 noon until 2.30pm. Dinner is served from 5.30pm.
Until 10th February of this year we will be running the bar menu throughout for both the bar and Bistrot.
